There's a reason the place only gets 5 star reviews! We came to this practice 2.5 years ago as we weren't happy at the time with our exisiting provider. We had a few cavities that needed attention and I really welcomed the non-judgemental approach and feeling like were part of the decision making and feeling listened to. My 8 year old son is getting such a positive experience of visiting Dr Marlena because ALL the staff are so amazing and thoughtful and patient. The office manager, Ms Lisa, always remembers us and always pops her head around to say hello. I only wish they could be my dentist!

“When can we go back to the dentist?” That’s what my five-year-old asked me this morning on our walk to school, the day after her first checkup with Dr. Tendler and Ms. Joey. It put a smile on my face. We switched offices after a move. Dr. Tendler took ten minutes at the start of the appointment to sit with me and my daughter and talk about why we brush our teeth and good habits to build. He earned some trust with my shy girl. She was delighted that she could watch Netflix while Ms. Joey tended to her teeth. As she followed directions, Ms. Joey used lots of positive reinforcement. Of course, the best part was slotting coins into the prize machines. The office manager, Ms. Lisa, even performed a coin trick. Pure delight! We can’t wait to go back.

I don’t know if I can really explain how incredible Dr. Tendler is, but I’ll tell you what I experienced. My son is quite anxious about dental work and unfortunately he was born with some genetic issues - very tight teeth and thin enamel and we didn’t know about this until his prior dentist discovered a cavity. Thank goodness we found Dr. Tendler and his practice and it’s not just him, it’s Lisa and Jonny who greet you and manage the insurance and billing, it’s the treasures chest of coins for the kids so they can choose prizes after appointment, everything is so well done and so well thought out. This is a fantastic practice, Dr. Tendler is a real child whisperer with kind words and songs (yes he sings!) when things might get stressful. I can’t thank them enough!!!

We've been patients of Dr Tendler since my older child has had teeth and can say that he and his staff are absolutely the best! His office is welcoming, modern, and kid-friendly. Dr Tendler not only makes the visits enjoyable for kids, but is also an effective communicator, ensuring both parents and little patients are at ease throughout the visit. Wish I had a dentist like Dr Tendler when I was a kid!

The office was clean and spacious. Dr. Tendler and his staff are amazing - very welcoming, friendly and patient. Dr. Tendler sang songs to my oldest son to keep him calm during the checkup. (granted he is a special needs child). My oldest son (6 years old) did better than my youngest son (3 years old). My youngest son could not be coaxed with toys, stuffed animals or tv shows. He was better after the checkup and looked forward to the treasure chest toy as well as the tokens given to them after their checkup. So happy to have found Dr. Tendler!
